7-Eleven taps Joshua Dolan to lead demand chain operations

Dolan has been tasked with expanding and optimizing the convenience retailer’s logistics network and improving operational execution.

IRVING, Texas — 7-Eleven has appointed Joshua Dolan as senior vice president of demand chain, tasking him with expanding and optimizing the convenience retailer’s enterprise-wide logistics network and enhancing operational execution. Dolan, whose role was reflected on the company’s website this week, officially joined in June, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Dolan most recently served as president of the Consumer Products Division for the Americas and Asia Pacific at GXO Logistics. Before that, he spent four years at Cardinal Health as SVP of supply chain, overseeing pharmaceutical distribution, enterprise logistics, inventory management, automation, and transportation.

Earlier in his career, Dolan held senior supply chain and logistics roles at Amazon, Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods. At Amazon, he helped develop the company’s global distribution platform and led logistics for national brands, private labels, and marketplace sellers. At Target, he directed international logistics and managed global freight operations. His earlier experience includes roles with UPS, Reebok and IKEA.

The leadership move comes as 7-Eleven prepares for a planned 2026 IPO and continues an aggressive U.S. expansion. Earlier this month, the company named Dave Strachan as Vice President and Chief of Staff to CEO Joseph DePinto.
