“Our stores are the front line of the Target experience, and guest expectations have never been higher. I believe great retail is built through focus and consistency: simplifying what gets in the team’s way, raising the bar on fundamentals and investing in store directors as leaders. When we do that, our incredible teams can bring the best of Target to life for every guest — delivering the most delightful experience in retail, serving our communities, and positioning us to win today and for the future,” she said.

She joined Target in 2004 as a leader of a frontline team in one of Target’s stores. Since then, she has held numerous leadership roles across a range of Target’s business operations, including significant experience in stores as well as posts in human resources and merchandising. Previous positions include vice president roles in stores, human resources and merchandising. In 2023, she was named senior vice president of store operations, where she led the transformation of the operations and guest experience in Target’s stores.

Costanzo holds a bachelor’s degree in fashion design from Columbia College in Illinois. She currently resides in Minnesota with her family.
