Ahold Delhaize names new head of private label

SALISBURY, N.C. — Ahold Delhaize USA promoted Abby Cook to senior vice president of Own Brands.

In her role as Senior Vice President of Own Brands, Abby reports to Chief Commercial Officer Keith Nicks. The SVP of Own Brands is the senior leadership role overseeing Ahold Delhaize USA’s own brand portfolio.

This appointment reflects the evolution of Ahold Delhaize USA’s own brands strategy and the formal establishment of the Own Brands function.

As SVP of Own Brands, Abby will oversee and deliver Ahold Delhaize USA’s own brand portfolio and be responsible for positioning it for the next phase of growth. Own brands are a critical enabler of Ahold Delhaize USA’s Growing Together strategy, supporting differentiation, innovation, customer loyalty and performance across ADUSA brands.

Prior to this appointment, Abby served as vice president of U.S. Strategy and Portfolio, where she led the development of strategic priorities, including the strategy for the own brands portfolio. Her experience, leadership and vision will be key as Ahold Delhaize USA continues to evolve its own brands offering.
