Zaandam, the Netherlands – Ahold Delhaize USA announced today that Greg Finchum, currently Executive Vice President of Retail Operations at Food Lion, will step into the role of President in May 2025. This appointment follows the planned retirement of Meg Ham, who has served as President since 2014.
Greg Finchum brings over three decades of experience at Food Lion, joining the company in 1989. Over his tenure, he has played a critical role in driving consistent sales growth and financial success. Finchum has been instrumental in building customer loyalty and strengthening connections between associates and the brand. His leadership was pivotal in strategically repositioning Food Lion preparing the company to meet future challenges and opportunities.
