Amazon rolls out gas savings for Prime members, says more perks coming in 2025

SEATTLE — In a move to further boost the value of its membership, Amazon announced that Prime members can now save $0.10 per gallon at over 7,000 bp, Amoco, and AM/PM gas stations across the U.S. The new offer could save customers nearly $70 per year on fuel, according to the company. And the benefits don’t stop there—Amazon plans to introduce additional transportation-related savings in 2025, including discounts on electric vehicle charging through BP’s EV charging network, BP Pulse.

“Fuel savings may be one of the most popular additional benefits we could offer,” said Jamil Ghani, Vice President of Amazon Prime. “We’re excited to provide this value to Prime members.”

To unlock the savings, Prime members can link their Amazon and earnify accounts, enabling them to redeem the discount at participating gas stations. The new initiative is part of Amazon’s broader push to expand the perks of its $139 annual membership, which already includes free shipping, streaming, grocery delivery, and more.
