SEATTLE – Amazon said Thursday that it has expanded its AmazonFresh service to three new cities: Houston, Minneapolis and Phoenix. Prime members in those cities can now shop online for meat, seafood, produce and everyday essentials, and have their orders delivered in two hours or less.
“Prime members tell us they want their stuff even faster,” Amazon Fresh and Prime Now vice president Stephenie Landry said in a statement. “We’re happy to deliver on that ask and can’t wait for customers in Houston, Minneapolis and Phoenix to take advantage of one- and two-hour delivery from AmazonFresh.”
Prime members can access AmazonFresh for $14.99 per month as an add-on to their Prime membership. AmazonFresh is now available in 18 major markets, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.
To promote the service, Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial of AmazonFresh to new customers, who can also receive $10 off their first order of $35 or more by using the promotional code Grocery10 at checkout.
