Andrea Caldwell Anderson has built her career at the intersection of pharmaceutical rigor and retail pragmatism — a combination that has made her one of the most respected leaders in the Rx-to-O-T-C private label market.

As president of Aurohealth, Anderson leads an over-the-counter private label business powered by the vertically integrated capabilities of Aurobindo Pharma. Her mandate: Translate end-to-end control — from active pharmaceutical ingredient through finished dose, packaging and distribution — into measurable value for retail partners.

“My focus is on fully leveraging the extended Aurobindo family and our vertically integrated platform … to create real, measurable value for our partners,” Anderson says.

Over more than 30 years in the private label Rx-to-O-T-C sector, Anderson has held senior leadership roles at BionPharma and at Ohm Laboratories and Taro, divisions of Sun Pharmaceuticals. There, she sharpened her expertise in life cycle management, regulatory strategy and portfolio development — and developed the operational precision required to serve large retail and wholesale customers.

At Aurohealth, her leadership philosophy centers on alignment. With teams separated by nearly 8,000 miles, cross-functional integration is intentional, not incidental. “Sales cannot succeed without manufacturing. Manufacturing cannot succeed without quality. And none of it works without supply chain and operations executing at a high level,” she notes.
