EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Mattel reported that Barbie is introducing a doll in the likeness of professional basketball superstar, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Angel Reese, celebrating her influence on sport, business, fashion, and culture while empowering the next generation of girls to dream without limits. Dressed in signature Barbie style, the doll debuts in Reebok Angel Reese 1 Basketball Shoes in Barbie pink, with a matching pair available for fans.

The Reebok Angel Reese 1 Basketball Shoes in a new Barbie-inspired color— also featured on Angel’s Barbie doll—are a bold fusion of performance innovation and expressive design, built to match Angel's dynamic on-court dominance and culture-driving presence off it. The Angel Reese 1 ‘Barbie’ Shoes feature pink color accents and co-branded elements on the tongue and sockliner in both adult and kids’ sizing.

Barbie is teaming up with Reebok to debut the Angel Reese Barbie Signature doll and matching Angel Reese 1 Basketball Shoes at TOGETHXR House in Chicago during All-Star Weekend, hosted by TOGETHXR, the fastest-growing women's sports media company, of which Reese is a co-owner. Inside The Angel Reese Dream Closet, fans can step into Angel's world, strike a pose inside a life-size Barbie box, and get an up-close look at debuting products, including the Reebok shoes and Barbie doll. Reese also worked closely with Barbie to create a limited-edition apparel capsule, including a custom jersey and Barbie x Angel-inspired tees and headwear inspired by the game-day look her doll is styled in, which will be available in the Dream Closet and on TheAngelReese.com. The experience will be open to the public on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 from noon to 5 p.m. CT.

The Angel Reese Barbie Signature doll will be available for purchase exclusively in stores at Target and online at Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Mattel Shop starting today. The Reebok Angel Reese 1 ‘Barbie’ Basketball Shoes will be available for purchase on August 3 at 10 a.m. ET on Reebok.com, and at DICK’s Sporting Goods and Foot Locker.
The Barbie brand will continue to celebrate women in sports as the Atlanta Dream, home to Reese, will host a Barbie Game Day during the matchup between the Atlanta Dream and Las Vegas Aces at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 3.
