The National Grocers Association (NGA), which represents independent food retailers and wholesales, issued a statement supporting the Federal Trade Commission’s decision to challenge the merger of Kroger Co. and Albertsons’ Cos.
Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) has named Lanesha Minnix the company’s executive vice president (EVP) and global chief legal officer. Minnix, most recently EVP, general counsel and corporate secretary for Ecolab, Inc., will assume her new role with WBA on April 15.
