ROME, Ga. — Better Than Bouillon has expanded its Culinary Collection with four globally inspired bases designed to help consumers recreate popular restaurant dishes at home.
The Summit Hill Foods brand has introduced Chicken Ramen Base, Tonkotsu Ramen Base, Pho Base and Birria Base. The products are available at Walmart, Albertsons and other retailers nationwide, with selection varying by location.
The launch comes as consumers continue to experiment with international cuisines while looking for convenient ways to prepare more complex dishes at home. The concentrated paste bases are designed to deliver the flavors of ramen, pho and birria without the lengthy preparation traditionally associated with the dishes.
“As consumers continue to explore global cuisines at home, they’re looking for convenient ways to recreate the authentic flavors they love,” said Kyle Peterson, chief marketing officer at Summit Hill Foods. “Our new Culinary Collection of global flavors bases deliver the restaurant-quality taste of ramen, pho, and birria with the trusted quality of Better Than Bouillon, making it easy to prepare authentic, flavorful meals in minutes instead of hours.”
The Chicken Ramen and Tonkotsu Ramen bases combine real chicken or pork with shoyu sauce to create savory broths that can also be used in stir-fries and other dishes.
Better Than Bouillon’s Pho Base is made with beef stock, ginger, soy sauce and aromatics. It is intended to provide the layered flavor of traditional pho broth, which can require several hours of simmering, while also offering applications in braised beef, stir-fries and rice dishes.

The Birria Base combines beef stock, chili peppers, onion, paprika, garlic and spices. In addition to birria and quesabirria, the concentrated base can be used in rice bowls, soups, beans and other dishes.

Better Than Bouillon said the concentrated format allows consumers to adjust flavor intensity while providing multiple uses beyond broth. The launch broadens the brand’s lineup as global flavors continue to gain traction in home cooking and grocery aisles.
