BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Birdzi announces the general availability of AskKea, a natural language business intelligence assistant that enables grocery retailers to query their data and receive trusted, decision-ready answers and visualizations in minutes. In early deployments, AskKea reduced decision cycles from 1–2 days to as little as 1–3 minutes.

AskKea enables non-analysts to directly access cross-system retail intelligence. It analyzes both structured and unstructured data across the organization to surface actionable insights. Managers can ask plain-English questions and receive clear answers, visual summaries, exportable data files, transparent methodology, and recommended analytical next steps.

“Retailers are drowning in data but starving for usable insight,” said Shekar Raman, co-founder and CEO of Birdzi. “Approximately 80 percent of enterprise data is unstructured, and knowledge workers spend nearly a fifth of their time searching for and assembling information. AskKea eliminates the need to stitch together reports and dashboards by giving leaders direct access to the answers in their data so that decisions can happen in minutes instead of days.”

Beyond performance reporting, AskKea enables deeper operational and customer analysis, such as year-over-year category penetration, SKU rationalization, customer lifecycle transitions, and scenario-based “what-if” forecasting, without requiring teams to manually pull and reconcile reports across multiple systems.

“I have been experimenting with AskKea recently and it is an absolute game changer for retailers,” said Jason W. Sokol, VP of Marketing, Associated Food Stores. “Not only will they be able to better understand their sales and rewards data, with AskKea they can make the data highly actionable.”

"AskKea is an incredibly powerful AI tool,” said Mary Jo Ziemkowski, Analyst - Grocery Retail Digital Rewards Program, Strack and Van Til. “I needed a list of customers who purchased specific items within certain dates. The first downloadable file was immediately useful. AskKea then offered a second, more detailed report, which added even more value. I was impressed by its capabilities and look forward to exploring more ways to leverage this tool for insights and support."
