MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — BJ’s Wholesale Club has appointed Stephanie Reibling as executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, effective immediately, the company announced Tuesday.
Reibling will oversee the retailer’s merchandising organization, with responsibility for advancing assortment strategy, private label development and omnichannel integration. She will report to Paul Cichocki, executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Stephanie to BJ’s Wholesale Club,” Cichocki said. “Her experience in retail and merchandising will be invaluable as we evolve our assortment, build BJ's own brands and advance our omnichannel capabilities.”
The appointment comes as BJ’s continues to invest in what it describes as a broader merchandising transformation, aimed at driving growth across categories and enhancing value for its members.
Chairman and CEO Bob Eddy said Reibling’s experience will help accelerate those efforts as competition intensifies across the warehouse club sector.
“The club channel is thriving, and Stephanie brings a deep knowledge of the space and a track record of driving growth,” Eddy said. “She will have an immediate impact as we continue to deliver unbeatable value and exciting products to our members.”
Reibling joins BJ’s with nearly 25 years of experience spanning merchandising, product development, brand strategy and sourcing. Most recently, she served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager at Sam’s Club, where she led a wide-ranging portfolio that included apparel, home, hardlines, toys and seasonal categories across both physical clubs and e-commerce.
Prior to that role, she held several divisional merchandising positions at Walmart, overseeing categories such as DIY, sports and outdoors, kids apparel and home. She also held leadership roles at Gap Inc.
