MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — BJ’s Wholesale Club is set to make its debut in Kentucky next week with the grand opening of its first location in the state on January 31. The new club, located at 4807 Outer Loop near Jefferson Mall, is BJ’s 250th location.
The Louisville club will also feature an on-site BJ’s Gas station, which offers low fuel prices daily and additional savings opportunities through the BJ’s Fuel Saver Program.
“Our growth is the result of delivering unbeatable value and convenience to families for more than forty years,” said Bill Werner, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development at BJ’s Wholesale Club. “As we celebrate this milestone, I want to thank the team members who serve our members every day as well as those who bring our new clubs to life. We look forward to bringing clubs to more new communities in 2025 and beyond.”
BJ’s Wholesale Club offers members savings of up to 25% off grocery store prices on a wide range of products, including fresh foods, household essentials, home décor, pet supplies, and more. Known for its “treasure-hunt” shopping experience, BJ’s introduces customers to new and exciting items on every visit.
Samuel Walters, Club Manager of the Louisville location, expressed enthusiasm for serving the community.
“We’re looking forward to taking care of the families who depend on us and serving our newest members in the Louisville community," Walters said. "We can’t wait for our members to enjoy the unmatched value BJ’s has to offer,” he said.
The company said it plans to serve the community in other ways, pointing to its more than 15-year partnership with Feeding America, which has provided more than 125 million meals to communities in need. Locally, BJ’s will collaborate with Dare to Care Food Bank, donating unsold produce, meat, and dairy each week to support its efforts in combating food insecurity.
BJ’s Charitable Foundation has also granted Dare to Care more than $57,000 to support its South Louisville mobile pantry program, which delivers high-quality food directly to those in need.
“This partnership will help deepen our mission of providing pathways to end hunger in our community,” said Vincent James, President and CEO of Dare to Care Food Bank.
Local shoppers can join BJ’s Louisville club now with exclusive pre-opening offers, including a $40 or $80 welcome reward depending on the membership tier selected. Membership benefits include:
