CAMDEN, N.J.—Campbell Soup Co.'s shareholders have approved the changing of the corporation's name to The Campbell’s Company, reflecting the organization’s diverse portfolio of iconic food brands. The change will take effect following an amendment to the company’s certificate of incorporation with the state of New Jersey.

“This subtle yet important change allows us to retain the iconic name recognition, reputation, and equity we have built over 155 years while reflecting the full breadth of our portfolio—which I believe is the best in all of food,” said Mark Clouse, president and CEO of The Campbell’s Company. “As The Campbell’s Company, we will build on our legacy of quality and innovation, while continuing to grow and meet the evolving needs of consumers.”

Clouse emphasized that the company’s commitment to its flagship Campbell’s soup brand remains steadfast. “We love soup and always will. The iconic red and white Campbell’s soup labels that consumers love will be on shelves forever,” he said.

The rebranding acknowledges the company’s leadership in a variety of food categories beyond soup. Its portfolio includes three $1 billion brands—Campbell’s, Goldfish, and Pepperidge Farm—with Rao’s pasta sauce expected to join that tier soon. Other well-known brands under the Campbell’s Company umbrella include Cape Cod, Chunky, Kettle Brand, Lance, Late July, Pace, Pacific Foods, Prego, Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps, Snyder’s of Hanover, Swanson, and V8.

The name change aligns with a strategy outlined at Campbell’s Fiscal 2025 Investor Day in September 2024, where the company introduced its mission to set the standard for performance in the food industry. The move underscores a commitment to quality and innovation while addressing consumers' evolving demands.

The change will not affect the Campbell’s soup brand or its packaging, ensuring continuity for one of the industry's most recognized and trusted names.
