Casey’s kicks off annual round-up campaign to support military families

Last year, the program raised $1.2 million, and Casey’s has now donated more than $11 million to military-focused nonprofits since 2012.

ANKENY, IOWA — Casey’s has begun its annual round-up campaign, encouraging guests to round up their purchases in stores and through the Casey’s app to support Hope For The Warriors and the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. The goal this year is to raise $1.3 million, supported by a $25,000 contribution from PepsiCo.

Guests can participate at Casey’s 2,900 locations through December 2. Last year, the program raised $1.2 million, and Casey’s has now donated more than $11 million to military-focused nonprofits since 2012.

“It is humbling each year to see the tremendous support from our guests, team members and partners for the brave men and women who serve our country,” said Darren Rebelez, Casey’s president and CEO and a United States Army veteran.

HOPE offers clinical services, community programs, and critical needs assistance that help veterans, active duty service members, and families of the fallen transition into civilian life. Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation supports the education of military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty by providing scholarships and career services.

Casey’s will offer free coffee or fountain drinks to military service members on Veterans Day, along with a free car wash where available. The retailer provides complimentary beverages year-round to on-duty uniformed first responders and military personnel.
