FORT WORTH, Texas — Galderma Laboratories L.P. has launched Cetaphil Men, a new line of seven skin care products for men.
Galderma said Monday that Cetaphil Men includes a face wash, face cloths, three lotions and two types of bars to clean, moisturize and protect men’s skin.
Cetaphil Men is available now online and at select retailers nationwide, including at Target, Publix Super Markets, Ahold, H-E-B, Giant Eagle, Weis Markets, Amazon.com, Drugstore.com and Soap.com. The product line also is slated to become available at Walgreens this spring.
“The introduction of Cetaphil Men further amplifies the Cetaphil brand’s mission to provide the most effective and comprehensive skin care products to the consumer,” stated Miles Harrison, president and general manager at Galderma for North America. “After the successful launch of Cetaphil Baby in 2015, Cetaphil Men is a great addition to our skin care family.”
Galderma noted that the clinically tested, dermatologist-developed, Cetaphil Men formulas help protect and preserve the skin’s natural moisture barrier for healthy, smooth skin year round. For all skin types, including dry or sensitive skin, the products are non-irritating and leave out harsh ingredients and heavy fragrances.
Items include the Cetaphil Men Daily Face Wash, Cetaphil Men Daily Face Cloths, Cetaphil Men Daily Face Lotion SPF 15, Cetaphil Men 3-in-1 Active Antibacterial Bar, Cetaphil Men Daily Clean Bar, Cetaphil Men 3-in-1 Daily Lotion and Cetaphil Men Extreme Healing Lotion.
Citing research from Mintel, Galderma reported that the U.S. men’s personal care market stands to reach $4.7 billion in sales by 2020.
“Cetaphil has been a trusted brand by consumers and dermatologists for over 65 years,” Harrison added, “and with the growth of the industry and the growing male consumer demographic, creating a line curated for their needs was the next phase in offering targeted skin care to our current fan base and to new consumers.”
