AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. – The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) and its 501c3 educational arm – the Health In Hand Foundation – today announced the election of new board members to both organizations during the association’s annual Self-Care Leadership Summit (SLS) in Amelia Island, Florida this week.
“CHPA is fortunate to have top industry leaders volunteer to serve on its board of directors,” said CHPA President and CEO, Scott Melville. “I am thrilled to welcome each of these new board members, all of whom bring decades of leadership and unique perspectives that will strengthen CHPA’s efforts to empower self-care.”
One-third of the CHPA Board of Directors is elected annually, with manufacturer members elected for three-year terms, and associate members elected for two-year terms.
The board members re-elected at this meeting are:
- Janick Boudazin: Boiron, Inc.
- Keech Combe-Shetty: Combe Incorporated
- Scott R. Emerson: DSE Healthcare Solutions
- Kristin Hornberger: Circana (Associate Member)
- Andrew Loucks: Sanofi Consumer Healthcare
- Phil McWaters: The Procter & Gamble Company
- Hiro Mori: Mentholatum
- Kristin Recchiuti: Advantice Health
- David Tomasi: Bayer Consumer Health
The nine newly elected members to the CHPA Board of Directors are:
- Abigail Buckwalter: Chief Executive Officer, Nestle Health Science U.S.
- Chris Brown: Chief Executive Officer, WellSpring Consumer Healthcare
- Chris DeWolf: President & Chief Executive Officer, Lil’ Drug Store Products, Inc.
- Britta Dittrich: President, Beurer North America
- Ashish Girota: Vice President & Head – Self-care & Wellness, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories
- Nivaran Kapur: Head, Combined OTC Business (Branded & Generic) Taro Pharmaceuticals
- Steve LaMonte: Executive Chairman, Metagenics
- Marsha McGraw: Managing Director, Global Products Insights, NielsenIQ (Associate Member)
- Charles Miller: President & CEO, Persuadable Research Corporation (Associate Member)
Also approved at the meeting were two new members of the Health In Hand Foundation Board, which include: Christina Ferzli, Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications for Nestle Health Science, and Hayley Fry, Senior Director of Marketing for Lil’ Drug Store Products, Inc.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Christina and Hayley to our board, both of whom bring unique skillsets and extensive experience in marketing and communications leadership roles,” said Executive Director Mary Leonard. “As the Foundation pursues multi-faceted public health initiatives and robust fundraising efforts, Christina and Haley will add tremendous value and guidance to support our mission-critical work.”
