Last year, L’Oréal Groupe appointed Christina (Tina) Fair president of the consumer products division for North America.
She says her core mission in her role at the company is to democratize the best of beauty for every consumer. “With our diverse portfolio, we are focused on providing superior beauty solutions and care across all price points and channels. This means ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the power of beauty that is cutting edge, inclusive and sustainable. Whether it is offering an extensive range of shades or pioneering game-changing launches like L’Oréal Paris Faux Brow or Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color Caramelo collection, our goal is to deliver high-quality innovation that meets the specific needs of our diverse consumers.”
Fair notes that the moment when she gets to see how deep consumer engagement builds genuine brand love is incredibly rewarding to her. “I find the challenge of shifting consumer behaviors — and delivering the winning innovations to meet them — one of the more interesting facets of my role. Equally important to me is the “people” aspect — mentoring talent and building high-performing teams is a passion of mine. Positioning L’Oréal as an attractive employer where top talent can thrive is the foundation of our success.”
She adds that she is incredibly proud that millions of people chose the company’s brands over the past year. “As leaders in makeup — with three brands in the Top 5 — we helped revive the entire makeup category, driving positive growth throughout the year. I’m also proud that our teams were able to accelerate and grow our hair care business and offer superior solutions at an accessible price — a major milestone.
