ATLANTA — Coca-Cola will stop selling its frozen products in the United States and Canada, including the Minute Maid frozen line, as it shifts its focus to better match changing consumer preferences, the company announced Thursday.

“We are discontinuing our frozen products and exiting the frozen can category in response to shifting consumer preferences,” a Coca-Cola spokesperson told Reuters.

The company announced that frozen products will be phased out during the first quarter of 2026, with remaining inventory available in stores while supplies last. Coca-Cola also stated that it is focusing on categories with stronger momentum, particularly juice and other beverages that better align with current demand.

The move occurs as Coca-Cola continues to focus on zero-sugar products and higher-value brands amid a volatile consumer environment. The company has increasingly prioritized premium and functional segments, including Fairlife milk, while reevaluating lower-growth categories.

Coca-Cola is also navigating a more complicated regulatory environment for packaged foods in the U.S. and has indicated an interest in expanding certain formulations, including a cane-sugar version of its flagship soda sold in glass bottles.

Executives have previously observed that increasing demand for low-calorie drinks and a growing consumer preference for local brands in certain international markets are reshaping purchasing habits, leading to portfolio adjustments across regions.
