SAN FRANCISCO — Costco and Uber are expanding their U.S. partnership, making delivery from nearly 600 Costco locations available through Uber Eats across 47 states.

The expansion, announced Wednesday, increases Costco’s Uber Eats presence from 17 states and gives members access to on-demand or scheduled delivery of groceries, fresh produce, household essentials and other Costco merchandise.

Costco members can link their membership account at checkout to access member savings. The companies are also introducing additional benefits, including 50% off the first year of an annual Uber One membership for eligible Costco members and 20% off in subsequent years.

For a limited time, consumers can also purchase a Costco membership through Uber Eats and receive 30% off their first eligible Costco order. Participating Costco locations and Costco.com will offer $100 Uber and Uber Eats gift cards for $79.99 for a limited time.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Costco nationwide, giving Costco members more ways to shop and bringing the brand’s storied selection and value to more consumers,” said Andrew Macdonald, president and chief operating officer at Uber.

The U.S. expansion builds on the companies’ existing international partnership. Costco is also available through Uber Eats in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, France and Spain.
