OTSEGO, Minn. — Alimentation Couche-Tard has opened a new 266,000-square-foot distribution center in Otsego, Minnesota. This is the first of three new facilities intended to strengthen its North American supply chain and improve service to Holiday Station and Circle K stores throughout the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.
The distribution center, which will serve nearly 500 locations in the region, is operated by longtime logistics partner McLane Company and employs about 150 team members. The opening marks a significant milestone in Couche-Tard’s multi-year effort to develop a more agile and efficient distribution network.

“This facility is a key part of our effort to build world-class distribution capabilities that support our stores and deliver a more consistent and rewarding experience for our customers,” said Trey Powell, senior vice president of global merchandising at Couche-Tard. He noted that partnerships with McLane and Ryan Companies — the project’s construction and architectural partner — were essential to creating a more integrated supply chain built for speed, accuracy and improved product availability.
The Otsego site will distribute national and private-brand packaged snacks, candy, beverages, tobacco and nicotine products, as well as fresh and prepared foods tied to the retailer’s “Fresh Food Fast” program.
Two more DCs, in Hazelwood, Mo., and Lockbourne, Ohio, will open soon, eventually supporting about 1,600 stores across 14 states. With these new facilities, approximately 3,200 Couche-Tard stores across North America will be supplied through self-distribution or hybrid systems.
