“My focus is simple: Ensure that Health Mart’s independently owned pharmacies have what they need to thrive and continue serving as essential health access points in their communities. Independent pharmacies play a vital role in patient health, and my role is to make sure they have the operational support, clinical tools and advocacy they deserve,” Lennartz says. “When independent pharmacy owners succeed, their communities stay healthier — and that’s what motivates me and my team every day.”

Lennartz champions inclusion and advocates for key policies. She is the national chair for McKesson’s Women Empowered (WE) employee resource group and serves as a board member for McKesson’s political action committee. In 2019, she received a President’s Club award acknowledging her efforts in support of payer performance.

Before joining McKesson in 2012, Lennartz worked for community pharmacies through roles including director of continuing education at Drug Store News and manager of pharmacy practice and operations at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.
