CVS Health has made a series of promotions, led by the appointment of Josh Flum as executive vice president of pharmacy services.

The company announced the organizational changes on Wednesday.

Flum previously served as senior vice president of retail pharmacy. In addition to overseeing retail pharmacy operations, pharmacy professional services, and payer relations, he will head a new enterprise product innovation and development team, and a new enterprise pharmacy growth team. He continues to report to CVS/pharmacy president Helena Foulkes.

The integration of CVS Health’s PBM and retail product development teams will create a “center of excellence for end-to-end product development,” the company said in a statement.

CVS also promoted Anita Allemand to senior vice president of enterprise product innovation and development, reporting to Flum. Allemand had been vice president of product innovation and management and vice president of analytics and outcomes.

Grant Pill was named senior vice president of enterprise pharmacy growth, reporting to Flum. Pill’s organization will focus on strategies to grow pharmacy share across all channels.

Pill had been vice president of merchandising for consumer health care. Succeeding him in that role is George Coleman. As vice president of store brands merchandising and quality assurance, Coleman grew sales by 13% and built a successful team including strategic, brand and category management capabilities, according to CVS.

In addition, Cia Tucci was promoted to vice president of store brands. She joined CVS in 1987 and has held a number of roles. She most recently led store-brand category management, product development and packaging teams. She has been instrumental in driving financial performance and new, innovative product lines including specialty bath and condition-state vitamins.

Coleman and Tucci report to Judy Sansone, chief merchant and senior vice president of front store business.
