CVS Health strengthens exec team

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health has made a host of promotions, led by the naming of Josh Flum as executive vice president of pharmacy services.

CVS Health has made a host of promotions, led by the naming of Josh Flum as executive vice president of pharmacy services.

Flum had served as senior vice president of retail pharmacy.

In addition to overseeing retail pharmacy operations, pharmacy professional services and payer relations, he will head a new enterprise product innovation and development team, and a new enterprise pharmacy growth team. He continues to report to CVS/pharmacy president Helena Foulkes.

The integration of CVS Health’s PBM and retail product development teams will create a "center of excellence for end-to-end product development," the company said in a statement.

CVS also promoted Anita Allemand to senior vice president of enterprise product innovation and development, reporting to Flum. Allemand had been vice president of product innovation and management and vice president of analytics and outcomes.

Grant Pill was named senior vice president of enterprise pharmacy growth, reporting to Flum. Pill’s organization will focus on strategies to grow pharmacy share across all channels.

Pill had been vice president of merchandising for consumer health care. Succeeding him in that role is George Coleman. He was vice president of store brands merchandising and quality assurance.

In addition, Cia Tucci was promoted to vice president of store brands. She joined CVS in 1987 and has held a number of roles, most recently leading store brand category management, product development and packaging teams.
