WOONSOCKET, R.I. — In a move to increase access to essential grocery and food items, CVS Pharmacy has expanded its delivery services for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) customers. Through new partnerships with DoorDash and Uber Eats, customers using SNAP/EBT benefits can now shop directly from CVS Pharmacy’s selection of over 37,000 eligible items on both platforms.

This initiative builds on CVS Pharmacy’s existing acceptance of SNAP/EBT in all physical locations, adding more convenient options for those facing transportation or mobility challenges.

“We know millions of Americans depend on SNAP benefits every day,” said Zachary Dennett, Vice President of Merchandising, Consumer Health and Wellness, and Supplemental Benefits, CVS Health. “By providing those customers with more options to shop with us, we’re meeting them when and where they need us to ensure they can easily access essential grocery and food items.”

Shoppers simply add their EBT card as a payment method on either DoorDash or Uber Eats, navigate to the CVS Pharmacy storefront, and allocate their benefits to eligible items during checkout.

The partnership includes more than 7,100 CVS Pharmacy locations already available on both platforms and is part of the brand’s broader effort to make shopping more accessible. CVS Pharmacy first launched on DoorDash in 2020 and Uber Eats in 2021. Additional options for same-day delivery, in-store pickup via CVS.com and the CVS Health app, and free same-day delivery for ExtraCare Plus members remain available.
