WOONSOCKET, R.I. — Michael Wier has been promoted to vice president of store brands at CVS Health.
He had been executive director – divisional merchandise manager for consumer health and wellness since August 2020.

I strongly believe that by fostering collaboration and leveraging our collective expertise, we can make a remarkable impact on all of our lives.”
He thanked “the amazing group of leaders at CVS Health,” including chief merchant Musab Balbale, and chief customer officer and co-president of pharmacy and consumer wellness Michelle Peluso, “who have helped me develop for this next opportunity. I am truly excited about this new chapter in my career and the possibilities that lie ahead.”
Wier joined CVS in 2013 as director of business planning and analytics. Before that he worked for Mars & Co., and Shawmut Corp.
He got a BS in mechanical engineering from Boston University in 2000 and an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2007.
