GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – Dollar General has appointed four new officers in leadership roles spanning supply chain, merchandising, store operations, and finance.
Nick Metzger has joined DG as vice president of distribution centers to oversee the operations and strategic direction of multiple distribution centers, including the Aurora, CO, Lebec, CA, Longview, TX, Sacramento, CA, and San Antonio, TX (Traditional and Fresh) DCs. He brings over 14 years of experience optimizing supply chain processes and managing logistics, transportation, and procurement operations.
Steve O’Brien has joined the Company as vice president, division merchandise manager, to lead DG’s strategic buying and merchandise assortment in the stationery, hardware, sundries, toys and summer events categories. He is a highly skilled business leader with nearly 20 years of experience in omnichannel retail merchandising, product strategy, and financial planning.
Tricia Snider has joined DG as division vice president of store operations for more than 2,300 stores in the northeast. She is a tenured retail leader with more than 18 years of experience in operations and building high-performing teams to execute strategy and enhance organizational success. She has expertise in change management, sales and productivity, shrink reduction, sales growth and innovation.
Bill Steiger has joined DG as vice president of tax, leading all aspects of the income tax environment. With 25 years of accounting and tax experience, he brings expertise in directing multiple strategic federal, state and international tax initiatives related to accounting, compliance, technology and planning opportunities.
