GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General is spotlighting a series of recent national awards tied to its digital engagement, loyalty and delivery initiatives as the retailer marks Customer Experience Day on May 15.
The company said the recognitions reflect its continued investment in making shopping more convenient, personalized and accessible for customers across its more than 21,000 stores nationwide.
Among the honors, Dollar General vice president of digital commerce Lydia Thacher was named a recipient of the 2026 Consumer Goods Technology Data Leadership Awards, which recognize executives who use data-driven strategies to improve customer and business outcomes. The company said the recognition highlights efforts to advance DG’s digital commerce strategy through personalization and customer-focused digital experiences.
Dollar General’s technology and digital teams also received a 2026 CIO 100 Award for Customer Experience & Digital Engagement for the retailer’s same-day delivery platform, myDG Delivery. The service allows customers to order products through the DG App or online for same-day delivery, spanning categories including household essentials, food, beverages and cleaning supplies.
The retailer’s myDG loyalty program also earned recognition on USA TODAY’s 2026 America’s Best Loyalty & Rewards Programs list, receiving a five-star ranking in the General Merchandise – Mass Merchant and Variety category. Dollar General said the program offers customers digital coupons, personalized offers, shopping list tools and exclusive promotions through the DG App.
In addition, Dollar General was named to USA TODAY’s 2026 Most Trusted Brands list and 2026 America’s Best Stores list.
The company said the awards underscore its broader strategy of combining value, convenience and digital innovation to improve the shopping experience for customers nationwide.
