Included in the summer savings are everyday essentials across food, health and wellness products, beauty and personal care items, and household cleaning supplies, with approximately 40% of the items in these departments discounted.
In addition to the 1,000 items discounted storewide this summer, DG will save customers time and money through a variety of other planned activities:
- July 2 with a ‘WOW Wednesday’ special offer featuring a surprise discounted item
- 7 Days of Savings summer sales event (July 6-12) with discounts of up to 50% off one featured item each day
- Upcoming planned promotions including weekday $5 off $25 DG digital coupons
- Back-to-school deals including 30% off digital coupons for teachers

The Company recently reduced prices on approximately 200 products. Therefore, Dollar General remains committed to serving customers with everyday low prices and continues to carry approximately 2,000 items at, or below, the increasingly rare $1 price point.
Those who sign up for a free myDG account on dg.com or in the DG app have an opportunity to save the most through digital coupons, cash back and other personalized offers. Shoppers can find savings of up to $300 - $500 each week through a combination of price reductions and promotions.
