Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, located at Exit 22 in Cornersville, will officially welcome travelers with a grand opening celebration designed to kick off the July 4 holiday travel period. The location sits about an hour south of Nashville and an hour northwest of Huntsville, Ala.
The travel center is the result of a partnership between Dolly Parton, her longtime manager Danny Nozell, and Gregory H. Sachs, owner of the Tennessean Travel Stop brand, which has operated since 2017.
Designed to serve truck drivers, families and road trippers, the facility features fuel services, a full-service restaurant and café, DLY BBQ, and Dolly’s Cup of Ambition Coffee. Guests will also find exclusive merchandise, relaxation areas and amenities designed to create a more welcoming travel experience.

A centerpiece of the flagship location will be an original mural celebrating Cornersville, along with a tour bus display inspired by the buses Parton has used throughout her touring career.
“Every traveler deserves comfort, good food and a genuine welcome,” the company said in announcing the opening.
The Cornersville site is intended to serve as both a travel stop and a community gathering place. Company officials said it will be the first of multiple planned locations under the Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop banner.
The June 24 grand opening will be open to the public, with additional details about festivities expected in the coming weeks. The company is also seeking local musicians and bands to perform during opening week and future events at the location.
The opening comes as travel centers continue to expand foodservice, retail and experiential offerings to attract both professional drivers and leisure travelers, turning roadside stops into destinations rather than simple refueling points.
