DoorDash deepens retail push with Foot Locker partnership

The agreement adds nearly 1,300 store locations to the DoorDash Marketplace.

SAN FRANCISCO — DoorDash is expanding its retail footprint through a new partnership with Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker and Champs Sports, bringing on-demand delivery of athletic footwear, apparel and accessories to consumers nationwide.

The agreement adds nearly 1,300 store locations across the three banners to the DoorDash Marketplace, allowing shoppers to browse and order sneakers, apparel and accessories directly through the app for same-day delivery. The move further positions DoorDash as a destination for everyday retail purchases beyond foodservice.

DoorDash said the partnership reflects growing consumer adoption of its non-restaurant offerings, noting that more than 30% of its monthly active U.S. users now shop across grocery and retail categories. The company has continued to scale its marketplace with tens of thousands of retail locations, capitalizing on demand for convenience and rapid fulfillment.

Foot Locker said the collaboration is aimed at enhancing accessibility and meeting customers where they are, offering a seamless way to shop for footwear and apparel across its banners with on-demand delivery.

The partnership also includes promotional offers tied to the launch and integrates the brands into DoorDash’s DashPass membership program, which provides subscribers with reduced fees and delivery benefits.

The deal underscores the continued convergence of digital commerce and last-mile logistics, as retailers look to third-party platforms to extend reach and meet rising expectations for speed and convenience.
