SAN FRANCISCO — DoorDash has announced the expansion of SNAP/EBT payment options to several new merchants. Customers who have uploaded their SNAP card to DoorDash can now use their benefits at the following merchants on DoorDash:
- CVS Pharmacy
- Dierbergs Markets
- Lowes Foods
- New Seasons Market
- Rouses Markets
- Wegmans Food Markets, Inc.
- Weis Markets
With these additions, over 50,000 stores nationwide now accept SNAP/EBT payments on DoorDash, providing more affordable grocery delivery options for SNAP-eligible consumers.
Delivering Better Access and Better Nutrition
Since launching SNAP/EBT payments in 2023, DoorDash has quickly expanded access: nearly 3 million consumers have enabled SNAP/EBT payments in the app, and 94% of U.S. households receiving SNAP benefits now have access to at least one participating store on the platform.*
The report From Food Deserts to Dinner Tables: How SNAP Delivery Removes Barriers and Supports Healthier Habits shows that the impact runs deeper – helping consumers improve how they shop, eat, and live. Those surveyed in the report, which combines DoorDash data with findings from a survey of more than 1,500 consumers who recently used SNAP/EBT on DoorDash, reported meaningful changes in their eating and household habits since using SNAP/EBT on DoorDash.
- 31% report eating more fruits and vegetables, and 24% report eating less junk food.
- 42% report cooking at home more often instead of turning to fast food or takeout.
- 74% reported feeling less stressed about planning SNAP usage compared to shopping in-store
- 71% reported that using SNAP/EBT for grocery delivery helps ensure they have groceries that last the entire month.
Consumers also report using SNAP/EBT on DoorDash for various needs — from restocking household groceries and buying missing items or smaller orders to purchasing essentials like baby formula or food when sick or unable to shop in-store. Looking at these patterns, bananas were the most ordered grocery item, milk was the top choice for convenience stores, and baby formula was the most popular in pharmacy orders in the first half of 2025.
“[I] truly was happy when it [SNAP/EBT] was added due to having a baby and constantly needing diapers, milk, fruit, wipes, medicine, and any baby essentials. I also don’t have a car, so having DoorDash take EBT has been a lifesaver,” said one DoorDash consumer.
Continuing Our Commitment
By expanding SNAP/EBT payment options to more merchants and reaching nearly every SNAP household across the country, DoorDash is dedicated to making food access more than just convenient — it’s about promoting healthier eating, lowering stress, and making life easier for individuals and families who need it most.
To order SNAP-eligible groceries from the merchants announced today, customers who use SNAP/EBT benefits on DoorDash can find their local store in the DoorDash app. To learn more about the impact of grocery delivery for SNAP consumers, read the full report From Food Deserts to Dinner Tables: How SNAP Delivery Removes Barriers and Supports Healthier Habits here.
