CHICAGO – dunnhumby has appointed Matt O’Grady as dunnhumby’s president of the Americas region, the company said Monday. In this newly created role, O’Grady will be responsible for delivering the company’s growth strategy across both North America and South America, and will report directly to chief executive officer Dan Olley.
“We are extremely pleased and fortunate to have Matt join us to lead our Americas’ operations,” said Olley, “Matt brings a wealth of experience working closely with business leaders across the globe to execute innovative data-driven media strategies and technology solutions. Beyond that, he has the leadership skills in building teams of the highest caliber and with a commitment to putting the customer first, the core of dunnhumby’s philosophy and methodology.”
O’Grady has more than two decades of experience leading organizations specializing in media and advertising solutions. Most recently, he served as executive media consultant at 12th Street Measurement, a media and data consulting firm. Prior to that, he served over 11 years in a number of leadership roles at Nielsen, including global commercial president of international media at Nielsen Media, CEO of Nielsen Catalina Solutions, executive vice president and managing director of local media for Nielsen, and executive vice president, audience measurement for Nielsen. O’Grady has held several other leadership roles at data and analytics-driven companies including Claritas and National Decisions Systems Inc.
