ARLINGTON – FMI, The Food Industry Association, has rescheduled its signature Midwinter Executive Conference, after pausing to consider the heightened challenges associated with the Omicron variant. FMI Midwinter is now set to take place in-person from March 28 to March 31 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Fla.
“While we paused our Midwinter event plans with purpose and patience, our members have urged us to hit ‘play’ for our first in-person gathering in more than two years,” FMI President and CEO Leslie Sarasin said of the organization’s decision. “We look forward to hosting this forum for high-impact industry dialog at the conclusion of the first quarter 2022.”
Dana Peterson, Chief Economist and Center Leader of Economy, Strategy & Finance at The Conference Board, will be the keynote speaker at the event, addressing the key economic trends to watch. FMI expects to make additional program announcements in the weeks to come.
Registration and housing information will be available at 6 a.m. EST on Friday, January 21, via the Midwinter website.
