CINCINNATI— The Kroger Co. has earned national recognition from Forbes as one of America's Best Employers for Tech Workers and for providing outstanding customer service through its Kroger Family of Pharmacies.

"We are honored to be recognized by Forbes as one of the Best Employers for Tech Workers and for our unparalleled customer service specifically in pharmacy," said Tim Massa, senior vice president and chief people officer. "This recognition is a testament to our remarkable associates and their commitment to serving our customers and communities."

Massa highlighted the company's strong workplace culture as a key driver of its success. "At Kroger, we believe that investing in our associates' growth and fostering a supportive work environment empowers them to deliver exceptional customer experiences," he said. "Our culture is built on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of our customers and each other."

For the Best Employers for Tech Workers list, Forbes evaluated companies based on surveying over 25,000 U.S. tech workers employed by firms with at least 1,000 U.S.-based employees. Survey participants rated their employers on factors such as work environment, development opportunities, and compensation.

The Forbes 2025 Best Customer Service survey collected 414 million ratings from 181,000 U.S. consumers assessing the service experiences they received from more than 3,500 brands. Companies were rated on personal interaction, speed, services, and resolution. Kroger's consistent focus on customer care, particularly within its pharmacy operations, helped secure its top-tier ranking.
