SHELTON, Conn. — Arthur Drogue, who has held executive roles at Unilever, Best Foods, Nabisco Brands Inc. and other consumer packaged goods companies, has joined TABS’s Analytics board of directors.
“We are pleased to welcome Art to the TABS board,” said Kurt Jetta, executive chairman and founder of TABS Analytics. “Art’s background, experience and knowledge fits well as we continue to grow and take the next steps with a focus on governance and planning.”
Drogue has served as chairman of the SPAR Group since 2013, also holding roles as chairman of the governance committee, lead director, and member of the audit and compensation committees. Before joining SPAR, Drogue held several senior roles at Unilever. Most recently he was senior vice president of sales and customer development for the America’s, and prior to that, he led Unilever’s U.S. sales and customer development organization through eight years of outstanding growth and earnings success while merging six separate companies into one of the U.S’s preeminent CPG companies, with annual sales over $12 billion. His previous professional experience includes senior management positions at Best Foods, Nabisco, Northeastern Organization (NEO) and General Mills Inc.
“I have known Kurt and worked with TABS Analytics for several years, and I understand the value that the firm can deliver to CPG companies,” said Drogue. “In fact, TABS was a key element in the successful launch of our Customer Insight and Innovation Center when I was at Unilever. I look forward to working with the TABS board and management to strategically grow the brand, drive revenue and profitability, and deliver on the company’s vision.”
Drogue also has held positions on several corporate and industry boards, including GS1 U.S., Apollo Foods, Demers Foods and Ruiz Foods. He served as an operating partner at Raptor Consumer Fund, and is a founding partner in The Resource Team, a consulting practice focused on the CPG industry.
