CARLISLE, Pa.– The GIANT Company, known locally as GIANT and MARTIN’S, today announced renovations are now underway at its GIANT store located at 737 Huntingdon Pike in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. The store will remain open during renovations, which are expected to be completed early next year.
“As we prepare to celebrate 15 years of serving the Huntington Valley community next year, it was time for a needed refresh throughout the store,” said Jonathan Augustine, Huntingdon Valley GIANT store manager. “The store team is excited to improve the shopping experience for our customers, while staying true to GIANT’s commitment to value and freshness.”
The store’s fresh offerings – produce, bakery, meat and seafood – in addition to the center store aisles and beer and wine areas, will be updated with improved efficiencies for shoppers and an enhanced assortment of products. Understanding the needs of today’s busy customers, the deli and prepared foods department will undergo an overhaul to offer more Grab ‘n Go items. In addition, the pharmacy will be relocated to the opposite side of the store and a new consultation room for pharmacists to administer immunizations will be added. The Kosher bakery will also be moved to a new location to enable more space for dedicated dry, fresh, and frozen Kosher products.
Open daily from 6 a.m. – 11 p.m., the Huntingdon Valley GIANT opened in 2012 and currently employs approximately 200 team members.
