EVERETTE, Pa. — A new GIANT Co. here held its official grand opening today. The event followed the company's acquisition of an Everett Foodliner store earlier this year and a brief closure for renovations and rebranding.
The store now operates daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and features several of GIANT’s signature departments and services. According to the company, shoppers will find an expanded produce section designed with a market-style feel and a broader assortment of fruits and vegetables, along with meat and seafood, deli offerings including pre-sliced meats, cheeses, and deli salads, an expanded dairy department, and a bakery featuring self-serve donuts.
The remodeled store also includes new center-store shelving to increase product variety and category offerings, as well as self-checkout stations to improve customer convenience.
In addition, the location offers GIANT Direct, allowing shoppers to order groceries online for curbside pickup.
As part of the grand opening celebration, GIANT announced donations to several local organizations, including the Everett Food Pantry, Everett Volunteer Fire Company, Everett Police Department, Everett School District and Everett Little League.
The company said the donations reflect its broader commitment to supporting healthier communities in the markets it serves.
