WARREN, N.J. — GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare has introduced Children’s Flonase Allergy Relief just in time for spring.

children's flonaseChildren’s Flonase is an over-the-counter nasal spray that has been approved to treat allergy symptoms including runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, congestion, and itchy, watery eyes.

The company says that the product is a safe, non-habit-forming way for children ages four and older to get relief from their nose- and eye-related allergy symptoms. Its active ingredient, fluticasone propionate, has been the No. 1 pediatrician-prescribed nasal allergy medicine for over five years, the company states.

Children’s Flonase works differently from single-ingredient antihistamines, the company explains, because it blocks six allergic substances instead of just one.
