In addition, Holiday Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates packages are the first to pilot the SmartLabel QR code, which gives consumers the ability to get detailed product information, from ingredient and nutrition facts to allergens.
Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars are made with fresh and responsibly sourced ingredients that are reflected on-pack, according to the company.
"There is a growing expectation for companies to provide more transparency about all that goes into their products, and we’re at the forefront, piloting the SmartLabel this holiday season," said Mary-Ann Somers, vice president and general manager of U.S. Confection for Hershey.
