Hy-Vee expands in Wisconsin by acquiring County Market and Circle K in Wausau. County Market closes on November 11 and reopens as Hy-Vee; Circle K becomes Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh.

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee, Inc. announced the acquisition of the County Market store at 220 S. 18th Avenue in Wausau, Wisconsin, along with the neighboring Circle K convenience store, marking a significant expansion in the region.

The County Market location will close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, and reopen a week later on November 18 as Wausau Hy-Vee. The nearby Circle K will be rebranded as a Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh, the retailer’s expanding convenience format offering fresh food, grocery essentials, and fuel.
