NEW YORK — Mass Market Retailers honored the executives on its 2016 list of Mass Market Retailing’s Most Influential Women at an awards ceremony last week in New York City.
The event drew retailer and supplier executives from across the food, drug and mass channels to a ballroom at the new headquarters of Time Inc. in lower Manhattan, just blocks away from the World Trade Center “Freedom Tower.”
On hand to receive awards were the following executives:
- Carmen Bauza, senior vice president, Walmart U.S.
- Dedra Castle, executive vice president and chief human resources officer, Rite Aid.
- Michelle Gloeckler, executive vice president, consumables, health and wellness, and U.S. manufacturing lead, Walmart U.S.
- Susan Henderson, senior vice president and chief communications officer, Rite Aid.
- Jocelyn Konrad, executive vice president, pharmacy, Rite Aid.
- Mary Winn Pilkington, vice president, investor relations and public relations, Dollar General.
- Jody Pinson, vice president of merchandising, beauty, Walmart.
- Dawn Sherman, president, EnvisionRxOptions, a Rite Aid subsidiary.
- Karen Staniforth, chief operating officer, Health Dialog, a Rite Aid subsidiary.
- Karen Stuckey, senior vice president, private brands/sourcing, GM and softlines, Walmart.
- Emily Taylor, senior vice president and general merchandise manager, nonconsumable division, Dollar General.
- Cheryl Wahl, chief compliance officer, EnvisionRxOptions, a Rite Aid subsidiary.
- Annie Walker, vice president, O-T-C merchandising, Walmart U.S.
Leslie Higgins, regional health care director for the greater New York City area and Connecticut at Walgreens, attended the event to accept awards for Ornella Barra, co-chief operating officer, WBA; Lauren Brindley, group vice president, beauty and personal care, Walgreens; Linda Filler, president of retail products and chief merchant, Walgreens; and Kathleen Wilson-Thompson, executive vice president and global chief human resources officer, WBA.
MMR recognized 36 executives as the Mass Market Retailing’s Most Influential Women in its June 17 issue.
