ARLINGTON, Va.— The Food Industry Association (FMI) has revealed the finalists for the 2025 FMItech Pitch Competition, a high-stakes contest for tech trailblazers. Badge, NoxuData, and Workrz, each bringing transformative technology solutions, will showcase their products before industry leaders at the upcoming 2025 FMI Midwinter Executive Conference. With food retailers investing over $10 billion in technologies such as AI and data analytics, this competition spotlights advancements that aim to redefine the customer experience and streamline workforce dynamics.

“These finalists are responding to some of the food industry’s most pressing challenges, from elevating customer interaction to leveraging technology for greater efficiency,” said Doug Baker, FMI's vice president of industry relations. “Their solutions are aligned with the industry’s forward-thinking investment in tech.”

The finalists include:

  • Badge, offering a no-code mobile wallet platform that enhances in-store engagement through Apple, Google, and Samsung Wallets, giving customers a personalized, app-like experience without app downloads or account setups.
  • NoxuData, an AI-driven data platform that employs advanced multi-agent architectures to optimize food industry operations. Its interactive approach allows users to work alongside a CPG data analyst, making data more actionable than ever.
  • Workrz, a job-sharing platform designed to provide flexibility for frontline workers and businesses. By connecting freelancers and service-based roles, Workrz reduces turnover and empowers workers to manage multiple part-time jobs on their own schedules.

Each finalist will have just seven minutes to impress a panel of judges and a live audience, with the winner securing a coveted spot to present during a keynote session at the Midwinter Executive Conference.
