CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Last November Jocelyn “Jocy” Konrad was promoted to chief of Dollar Tree Stores and enterprise store operations for Dollar Tree Inc. She joined the company as chief of stores for Family Dollar in September 2023.
“We are focused on getting back to our roots by empowering our associates to delight our customers with a “thrill of the hunt” shopping experience, providing exceptional customer service, and running clean and inviting stores — all to elevate the magic of Dollar Tree,” Jocy said.
In her current role, Konrad oversees all Dollar Tree stores and enterprise operations, leveraging her extensive experience to guide Dollar Tree’s expansion strategy. “In just over a year, Jocy has unlocked substantial value for the Family Dollar business, delivering on financial commitments and exceeding operational expectations for the banner,” said chief executive officer Mike Creedon at the time of her promotion.
Before joining Dollar Tree, Konrad was at Rite Aid Corp. for nearly 15 years, filling leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Starting as a pharmacy district manager in 2007, she was promoted to regional pharmacy vice president in 2011, and was appointed VP of health care initiatives a year later. In 2014, Konrad was promoted to group VP of clinical services and pharmacy initiatives.
In 2015, she was named executive VP of pharmacy, and in March 2019 her portfolio was expanded to include retail operations as well as pharmacy.
Konrad was elevated to chief pharmacy officer in October 2019. In that post, she led pharmacy operations for more than 2,400 in-store pharmacies and oversaw the corporate development of clinical services and central services that included mail, regulatory and government affairs, managed care, procurement, retail call center, workforce management and customer experience.
