Jocelyn Konrad believes retail magic happens in the aisle. Now serving as executive vice president and chief retail officer at Dollar Tree, Konrad oversees store operations across more than 9,200 locations nationwide. Promoted twice since joining the company in 2023, she steps into the role at a pivotal time for value-focused retailers competing aggressively for traffic and loyalty.
In announcing her appointment, Konrad credited store associates and field teams for creating the “MAGIC of Dollar Tree” in communities across the country. She has emphasized simplifying execution for frontline teams and reinforcing a culture of “safety first, safety always” in partnership with the company’s asset protection organization. Her mandate is to sharpen operational discipline, elevate store standards and deepen frontline engagement — all while delivering what she calls “The X Factor” across the national fleet in 2026.
Konrad brings operational and leadership experience from her nearly 15-year tenure at Rite Aid. Beginning as a pharmacy district manager in 2007, she rose through such roles as regional pharmacy vice president, executive vice president of pharmacy. Ultimately she served as chief pharmacy officer, leading pharmacy operations for more than 2,400 in-store pharmacies and overseeing clinical services, managed care, procurement, customer experience, pharmacy acquisitions, regulatory and federal affairs, and store operations. Konrad’s blend of operational rigor and customer-centered leadership now informs her role at Dollar Tree, where she is focused on strengthening store-level performance, ensuring that the energy she describes as “unmatched” continues to define the Dollar Tree experience.
