Kelley Padgett joins Avery Dennison as VP, CPG - intelligent labels

Kelley Padgett has joined Avery Dennison Corp. as vice president, CPG - intelligent labels.

Padgett has more than two decades of experience in sales and marketing, most recently with French multinational pharmaceutical and health care company Sanofi SA, where she led the company’s Walmart team in consumer health care. Padgett had previously worked at Walmart as a buyer’s assistant and as senior national account manager.

Walmart and Avery Dennison last year unveiled a first-of-its-kind innovation that extends the use of radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology into fresh food categories — including meat, bakery and deli — marking a major advance in how retailers manage perishable inventory.

Padgett has also worked at Shell, leading initiatives in M&A and new business development. During a stint with Black & Decker, Padgett secured category captain status for the vacuum category.

Padgett earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the University of Arkansas.
