Kenvue taps Jon Halvorson as new chief marketing officer

Company still battling claims from the Trump administration that its painkiller Tylenol is linked to autism.

SUMMIT, NJ — Kenvue has appointed Jonathan Halvorson as its new Chief Marketing Officer, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. Halvorson currently serves as Global SVP of Consumer Experience at Mondelēz International and is expected to officially join Kenvue in the coming days.

This leadership change comes as Kenvue navigates public scrutiny following statements made during the Trump administration suggesting a potential link between Tylenol (acetaminophen) use during pregnancy and autism.

Halvorson brings a wealth of experience, having joined Mondelēz in 2017 after previous roles at Twitter and General Motors.

In addition, The Journal reports that Kenvue is actively searching for a new global advertising agency.
