Kohl’s taps former JD Sports executive to strengthen digital and app experience for 60 million customers

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wash. — Kohl’s has appointed Arianne Parisi as its new Chief Digital Officer, effective July 28, as the retailer sharpens its focus on enhancing the digital and omnichannel experience for customers.

Parisi, who will join the executive leadership team and report to interim CEO Michael Bender, will oversee Kohl’s digital business through Kohls.com and the Kohl’s App while working cross-functionally to support the company’s broader growth strategy.

“We are excited for Arianne to join Kohl's,” said Bender. “Arianne's deep experience leading digital teams at omnichannel retailers will allow her to hit the ground running and help us in our efforts to enhance our customers’ experience whenever they shop with us, strengthen the total business, and improve, simplify, and drive the digital experience. Her focus on driving results while also supporting and developing high-performing teams makes her a great fit for the Kohl's team.”

Parisi brings 20 years of retail experience, including 13 years in digital leadership roles at JD Sports, The Finish Line and Nordstrom. Most recently, she served as Chief Digital Officer at JD Sports Fashion Plc, overseeing a robust global e-commerce business across 4,850 stores in 49 countries.

“As the pace of retail transformation accelerates, Kohl's can uniquely serve today's families,” said Parisi. “I'm honored to join and support our incredible teams as we enhance the digital experience for our 60 million customers, creating a seamless, inspiring, and personalized journey that reflects how they shop and live today.”

Before moving into digital roles, Parisi worked in merchandising at The Sports Authority, gaining experience in aligning store and digital strategies. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College.
