Kroger named one of America's most visible and trusted companies

CINCINNATI, Ohio—Kroger Co. has been named to the 2025 Axios Harris Poll 100, an annual ranking that evaluates the reputations of the most visible companies in the United States.

“As America’s grocer, we understand our responsibility to provide fresh, affordable food so families can make the meals they love,” said Ron Sargent, Chairman and CEO of Kroger. “Every day, our teams are focused on the customer, keeping prices low and creating meaningful careers. We appreciate Harris recognizing Kroger's commitment to our customers and associates.”

The Axios Harris Poll, a trusted corporate reputation measurement since 1999, evaluates companies based on trust, ethics, vision, and product and service quality attributes. Kroger consistently ranks among the most respected and visible brands in the nation.

Kroger’s continued recognition reflects its broad impact through its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste initiative, which has donated $1.5 billion to hunger relief efforts since 2017. That includes rescuing over 815 million pounds of surplus fresh food, translating to more than 3.9 billion meals distributed to communities nationwide.

In 2025, Kroger launched Kroger Community Days, a nationwide volunteer initiative in partnership with U.S. Hunger. Intending to pack over three million meals this year, these events unite associates and local volunteers to combat food insecurity nationwide.
