Lidl opens new Virginia store

With 35 stores reported as of August 2025, Virginia has the highest number of Lidl locations in the U.S. 

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Lidl is actively expanding in Virginia and opened its newest store in Woodbridge on October 1, 2025. Virginia is a major operational hub for Lidl, which established its U.S. headquarters in Arlington and a distribution center in Spotsylvania County in 2015. The new Woodbridge store, located at 2904 Prince William Parkway, is Lidl’s 36th location in Virginia. The new store features the company’s trademark low prices and high-quality products, along with an on-site bakery. 

Virginia as a key market

As part of its ongoing growth strategy, Lidl is focused on strengthening its presence in its core East Coast markets, including Virginia. In addition to Virginia, Lidl has announced new store openings in other East Coast metropolitan areas, including:
